The Much Cowarne Ringing Challenge

The rehanging of Much Cowarne bells was made possible by a generous grant from the Lottery Fund. Using the bells in education was the main component of the bid. The Ringing Challenge combines the first general ringing session on the bells with an event for developing ringing.

 

The challenge is an opportunity for groups of ringers at all levels to practice their skills together in preparing and ringing a test piece. It is not a competition where teams compete against each other, so there are no winners. It is a simply a challenge to each band to achieve its own best performance.
