Our Guild has a long and proud history, stretching back 140 years. As a registered charity, we have a set of charitable aims and a set of Guild rules which guide how we function today. These documents have served us well, providing structure, continuity, and a framework for governance.
However, as ringing and society continue to evolve, it is sensible for us to pause and reflect on whether our current arrangements still support the needs of ringers as effectively as they could. The survey is an opportunity to understand how members experience the Guild today, what works well, and where there may be opportunities to improve flexibility, reduce administrative burden, and support ringing more effectively in the years ahead.
This survey is not a consultation on planned changes, and no decisions have been made. We are simply gathering views so that any future conversations can be informed by the broadest possible range of member perspectives.
